Biography

Freelance HE careers consultant, employment expert, and writer. She has a PhD in Reflective Practice and Career Guidance and two decades of experience supporting disabled people. She is a member of the Career Development Institute (CDI) listed on the Career Development Professional Register (RCDP) and a member of the Association of Graduate Career Advisory Services (AGCAS). She has published in Career Matters, Phoenix and contributed to ‘A history of the careers services in the UK since 1999’ National Institute for Career Education and Counselling (NICEC). Areas of interest are career changes, retirement, practical knowledge of the Equality Act, reasonable adjustments, Disability Confident, and Access to Work.
